Time Goes On

I have absolutely no idea how long this took me. Over a week, but I don't know the hours I worked on it a day. Probably a couple per day. So ~10+ hours maybe? I really don't know. Its a total steampunk brain-dump. And can you believe I did all this for an English assignment? xD We're doing a project for the book Speak in which the main character has to do an art project based on a word picked out of a hat. I got.... Gondela. See, the clock guy is in a gondela and is rowing it with a giant flower? Yeah, my imagination just sort of took off from there... hey, I had space to fill, right?
Of course, there is a destroying-the-planet message in there too. See how in the back theres a gear crushing some flowers, and theres some stuff coming out of a pipe going down the river? I don't know how clear it is to somebody who didn't draw it. Also, the clock guy who isn't polluting the river is casting a shadow of music! Some notes taken from Mozart's Violin&Piano in D major (so it looks real...)

I used mostly .1mm and .3mm faber castel pens & some paper I had fun drawing this, and hopefully will do some (better) black&white drawings possibly from this mysterious world in the future.
